Scottish Government staff employed overseas: FOI release
Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
1. The number of civil servants that have been employed overseas since each of the offices opening dates, broken down by (a) directorate, (b) pay grade and (c) country in which they are employed. Can I also please have their job titles if possible.
2. For pay grades, can I please have the pay grades during that time. For example, with a C1 staff member in the Paris office in 2017, you would attach the 2017 pay grades.

I enclose most of the Information you requested at Annex A.
While our aim is to provide information possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you requested. The reason why we don't have the information is explained in the Annex to this letter.
