European Structural Funds 2014-2020 programmes consultation responses

In total 84 responses were received to the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) consultation launched in May 2013 and copies are available here.

On 14 May 2013, the Deputy First Minister launched a consultation seeking views on the proposals for the 2014 - 2020 European Structural Fund Programmes. Stakeholders were asked to provide their views on the proposals for the Partnership Agreement, Operational Programmes, Integration Strategy and the Governance and Delivery Arrangements.

The consultation closed on 30 June and in total 84 responses were submitted.

Overall, the majority of respondents were supportive of the proposals and agree that the European Structural and Investment Funds should be integrated in order to address regulatory and policy requirements.

During the consultation period, discussions with stakeholders on the implementation arrangements for the future programmes commenced and it is anticipated that these will conclude late summer.

We will respond to the outcomes of this consultation together with the results of the Strategic Delivery Partnerships in the autumn.
