What we do

We are responsible for protecting lives by ensuring assessment, mitigation of risk and remediation of buildings with potentially unsafe cladding.

We are responsible for:

management of the Scottish Cladding Remediation Programme, including assessment, mitigations and remediation works
designing and implementing the Single Building Assessment
the design and delivery of the Scottish Developer Remediation Contract
the design and delivery of a Cladding Assurance Register
introducing the necessary legislation in the Scottish Parliament for a Responsible Developers Scheme
the design and delivery of a Responsible Developers Scheme
