Energy: Vulnerable Energy Consumers Short-Life Working Group
This group is no longer active.
Overview
This group was established in June 2023 and concluded its work in October 2023. Scottish Government ministers and officials continue to engage regularly with members of the group, both informally as well as through other forums.
Building upon the two energy summits chaired by the former First Minister in 2022, we established this group in June 2023 to bring together stakeholders with which to develop collaborative actions to help mitigate the impact of the cost of energy on vulnerable consumers in Scotland.
This is one of three short-life ministerial working groups running concurrently, each focused on a specific cohort of consumers. The other two related groups are the Rural Energy Consumers Ministerial Short-Life Working Group and the Non-Domestic Energy Consumers Ministerial Short-Life Working Group.
