Human Trafficking Strategy Implementation Group
Overview
As well as overseeing the implementation of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation Strategy, the group:
- ensures that a human rights approach is taken
- ensures that victims' voices and views are appropriately reflected
- draws together the work of the 4 Action Area Groups
- identifies any overlaps and potential for joint work
- addresses any barriers to implementation
The Strategy Implementation Group has specific responsibility for:
- communications and awareness raising
- identifying and sharing good practice
- the overview of local structures for implementation
- developing appropriate training and materials
