Scottish Hydrogen Industry Forum
Overview
We have created the Scottish Hydrogen Industry Forum (SHIF) to bring together key industry figures to help:
- drive forward the hydrogen economy in Scotland collaboratively
- ensure Scottish Government policy and action remains responsive to technological and market developments
- maximise the decarbonisation and economic benefit for businesses and communities
The establishment of the SHIF was a commitment we made in the Hydrogen Action Plan (2022)
The SHIF’s focus is to:
- provide insight into and understanding of the challenges facing this emerging sector
- improve and increase possible solutions to barriers to deployment
- inform developing our policy
- help inform engagement with the UK Government on the wider hydrogen economy
- help realise our ambitions.
