Early learning and childcare: Sustainable Rates Review Implementation Working Group

Overview

The Sustainable Rates Review Implementation Working Group was established in June 2024. It includes representatives from the childcare sector, local government, Scottish Government early learning and childcare policy, and COSLA. Its main role is to inform the approach taken to collecting robust and reliable data on the costs of delivering funded ELC in private, third, and childminding sector providers.

Co-chaired by the Scottish Government and COSLA, the group is expected to last two years and will be supported by a provider reference group for direct input from providers.
