This publication presents national-level information on justice social work activity in Scotland. It includes data on justice social work services and social work orders, as well as characteristics of the individuals involved.
Erratum
An errata was published on 28 February 2024 as a result of:
Changes to the figures for total assessment reports and assessment reports with recommendation not known, in Table 5 of the tables accompanying the publication. The supporting local authority level courts and bail tables, as well as the extra Scotland level tables, have also been updated to reflect these changes.
A further errata was published on 11 July 2024:
In the additional local authority level tables for criminal justice social work reports, an error was spotted in Table CJSWR_9, where the rows of numbers did not match up with the row headings. This table has now been corrected. This issue did not affect the publication itself nor the tables accompanying the publication
