National Strategy for Older People
Age, Home and Community: a strategy for housing for Scotland's older people 2012-2021 was published in 2011.
It sets out our vision that older people in Scotland are valued as an asset, their voices are heard and they are supported to enjoy full and positive lives in their own home or in a homely setting.
Other National Strategy documents include:
- our Older people's housing strategy: delivery plan setting out the strategy's actions and the expected timescale and milestones
- a chart showing the main areas of work
The Age, Home and Community Monitoring Advisory Group monitors delivery of the strategy. A review of the first five years of the 'Age, home and community strategy' was published in 2017.
Age, Home and Community: the next phase was published in August 2018.
