Third sector core funding
We aim to create the best conditions for the third sector to thrive and support improved outcomes. One way it does this by supporting key infrastructure organisations who in turn support the wider third sector.
This does not include all the funding that we give to third sector organisations. Many policy areas provide funding to third sector organisations to support the delivery of a wide range of policies.
The total Third Sector Unit budget is set out each year in the Scottish Budget. You can find a breakdown of the funding for the financial year 2022 to 2023.
