2023 people survey results for Directorate for Local Government and Housing: FOI release

Information requested

1. The 2023 results of the People Survey for the Directorate for Local Government and Housing.
2. Where they exist, the 2022 results of the People Survey for the Units and Divisions within Directorate for Local Government and Housing.

Subsequently, you emailed on the 12 April 2023 to advise part 1 should have read "The 2022 results of the People Survey for the Directorate for Local Government and Housing;".

Response

I enclose a copy of the information you requested in the attached excel spreadsheet.

The People Survey data for this request is presented in the same format used by the Cabinet Office when publishing People Survey results for the UK Civil Service on gov.uk. The data is also presented in a way that is consistent with the People Survey Privacy Notice. The data presented therefore follows People Survey disclosure rules and are aggregated and only reported where at least 10 people have answered the same question to minimise the risk of individuals and their personal data being identified. Further information about the design and analysis of the People Survey is available in the Technical Summary.

Therefore this information is exempt under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA. Disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exemption is not subject to the ‘public interest test’, so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
