6. Revisions and Changes to Personal Independence Payment

6.1 Changes to the Personal Independence Payment Assessment Guide (found here) made within the legislative framework or as a consequence of ongoing improvement work under business as usual arrangements will not require mutual agreement prior to introduction, but DWP agrees to notify Social Security Scotland of those changes as soon as practicably possible.

6.2 Both parties shall act transparently and will work in a practical way to resolve any issues that may arise, in the spirit of co-operation, trust, respect and confidentiality. This Agreement will be reviewed, as required, through the Joint Ministerial Working Group on Welfare.
