Worker Shortage
In the period 3 June to 16 June 2024 (Wave 110), businesses not permanently stopped trading were asked if they were currently experiencing a shortage of workers.
Figure 1: In Wave 110, 25.5% of businesses reported experiencing a shortage of workers. The industry sector with the highest proportion of businesses reporting a shortage of workers was Construction (35.1%).
