Business Performance

In July 2024 businesses were asked how they expect their business’s overall perfomance to change over the next 12 months.

Figure 5: In July 2024, 31.7% of respondents thought their business’s performance would increase over the next 12 months. An estimated 8.2% of businesses expected performance to decrease.

Estimated share of businesses by expected business performance over the next 12 months. Businesses not permanently stopped trading - with 10+ employees and a presence in Scotland. Applicable waves 55 to 112.
