Turnover
Businesses that were currently trading were asked how their turnover in June 2024 compared with the previous calendar month.
Figure 4: 23.6% of businesses reported that their turnover had increased in June 2024 compared to May 2024. The sectors with the highest percentages reporting an increase were Information and Communication (38.1%) and Admin and Support Services (38.9%). Overall, an estimated 22.4% of businesses reported that their turnover had decreased over this period.
