Turnover

Businesses that were currently trading were asked how their turnover in July 2024 compared with the previous calendar month.

Figure 4: 30.8% of businesses reported that their turnover had increased in July 2024 compared to June 2024. The sectors with the highest shares reporting an increase were Administrative & Support Services (44.7%) and Accomodation & Food Services (39.9%). Overall, an estimated 18.0% of businesses reported that their turnover had decreased over this period.
