Turnover

Businesses that were currently trading were asked how their turnover in August 2024 compared with the previous calendar month.

Figure 4: 26.4% of businesses reported that their turnover had increased in August 2024 compared to July 2024. The sector with the highest share reporting an increase was Accomodation & Food Services (54.3%). Overall, 21.5% of businesses reported that their turnover had decreased over this period.
