Employment Practices

In Wave 117, businesses were asked if they have a probation policy in place and also if they employ anyone on a variable hours contract.

Figure 3: In Wave 117, an estimated 71.8% of businesses had a probation policy in place, this varied by sector from 57.6% in Accommodation & Food Services to 87.5% in Information & Communication.
