Turnover

Businesses that were currently trading were asked how their turnover in December 2024 compared with the previous calendar month.

Figure 4: For an estimated 33.5% of businesses turnover had decreased in December 2024 compared to November 2024. The Construction (40.8%), Manufacturing (40.2%) and Administrative & Support Service Activities (40.2%) sectors had the highest shares experiencing a reduction. For 23.7% of businesses, turnover had increased.
