Recruitment
In Wave 97, businesses not permanently stopped trading were asked if they had experienced any difficulties recruiting employees in November 2023.
Figure 1: Difficulties in recruiting employees had been experienced by an estimated 36.8% of applicable businesses.The highest rates of recruitment difficulties were reported by businesses in the Manufacturing (44.4%) and Accommodation & Food Services industry sectors (43.6%)
