Turnover

In Wave 97 businesses were asked how their turnover compared with the previous calendar month.

Figure 4: In Wave 97, 24.4% of businesses reported that their turnover had decreased in November 2023 compared to October 2023 - rising to 39.2% of businesses in Accommodation & Food Services industry sector. Overall, an estimated 20.6% of businesses reported that their turnover had increased over this period – a higher share than the previous month (17.2%).
