Biodiversity strategy and delivery plan - SBS: governance, monitoring and evaluation
This publication sets out our approach to governance, monitoring and evaluation for Scotland's Strategic Framework for Biodiversity, which includes the Biodiversity Strategy to 2045, Delivery Plan and statutory nature restoration targets.
Conditions for success
The SBS also sets out the conditions for success needed to support the successful delivery of the outcomes. This includes governance, monitoring and evaluation arrangements that
- Maintain focus at the highest levels on achieving the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy Outcomes and Delivery Plan Actions
- Facilitate decision making and review delivery priorities in light of progress and changing circumstances
- Ensure a wide range of delivery partners have the opportunity to shape policy and implementation plans
- Monitor progress towards achieving the Strategic Outcomes
