Breakdown of cost for Isle of Rum visit: FOI release

Information requested

A breakdown of all costs for Lorna Slater’s visit to the Isle of Rum on 12/05/23, including the cost to charter the boat, state the cost of the full return journey. If any ministerial cars were used for the journey please confirm details of departure and arrival points and the length of journey.

Response

The cost to hire the vessel to and from the Isle of Rum was quoted as £1200. The cost information(1) may be held in full by NatureScot who arranged the charter, you may wish to contact them at FOI@nature.scot to help you further.
