It will provide a procurement vehicle supporting a long-term programme of investment driven by service needs for local authorities, NHS Boards and other public sector bodies across Scotland. It will provide a mechanism for delivering community based infrastructure requirements more quickly, effectively and thereby delivering better value for money and will provide a systemic approach to service and infrastructure requirements in the short, medium and long term.
