The report provides a national-level view of the challenges facing the building standards profession in relation to resourcing, development of competencies and levels of turnover.
12.0 Qualifications – Currently Studying
12.1.1. The number of staff currently studying for a qualification has reduced by a fifth. The biggest is in SCQF levels 7 (HNC) and 9 (BSc) and their equivalent vocational qualification.
