Provides a national-level view of the challenges facing the building standards profession in relation to resourcing, development of competencies and levels of turnover.


11.0 Qualifications

11.1. The number of qualifications held by staff has increased by 14 since 2022. See Table 7.

11.2. The biggest increase is the Master’s degree (SVQ5) (+20) with increases also seen in Honours and HND.

11.3. There is a reduction in Bachelor degrees, HNC and national award SVQ level 1.
