Information requested

Recently the Transport Minister Jenny Gilruth was asked at Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee about Calmac Seafers being employed by an entity based in Jersey that avoids paying National Insurance tax.

The Minister stated in her response that she had sought advice from her ministerial advisors on the matter.

Please consider this a FOI request for the correspondence sent by the Minister to her advisors seeking this advice.

Response

The previous Minister for Transport, Jenny Gilruth advised the committee she would seek information and share this with the committee. This will be done as a written response to the committee and can be viewed in due course via the Scottish Parliament website. I have included a link below:
