Care home data review: data mapper
Summary of care home data system in Scotland as of May 2024.
The Scottish Care Home data landscape is complex, with a number of organisations collecting and publishing data relating to care homes.
In order to understand the current data landscape, all the national data sources and definitions relating to care homes has been brought together and mapped. The mapping covers both official statistics and management information and aims to help users navigate all the different sources of care home data, and how they link together.
