Charges to the Scottish Government relating to attending the Queen's Funeral: FOI release

Information requested

1. Did the Scottish Government pay for Nicola Sturgeon to head to London for the Queen's funeral and if so, how much did it cost, how did she get there and where did she stay? Breakdown of these costs.

2. Did the Scottish Government pay for Lorna Slater to head to London for the Queen's funeral and if so, how much did it cost, how did she get there and where did she stay? Breakdown of these costs.

3. Itineraries for both Ms Sturgeon and Ms Slater for their time in London and their travel to and from London for the Queen's funeral?

4. Any other expenses charged to the Scottish Government relating to attending the Queen's Funeral?

Response

An exemption(s) under section(s) 27 (1) of FOISA applies to some the information you have requested. This exemption can be applied when it is the intention of the relevant Scottish public authority to publish the information no later than 12 weeks after the date on which the request was made.

For question 2, Lorna Slater attended as Co-Leader of the Scottish Greens and therefore no costs were incurred by the Scottish Government.
