3. Will there be different impacts on different groups of children and young people?

The impact will be limited to children and young people who are allocated a Safeguarder in Children's Hearings proceedings, approximately 1,500 children each year. Of this number, the majority are most likely to be under the age of seven, which illustrates a clear need for the production of child-friendly versions of the Practice Standards.
