National flood resilience strategy: child rights and wellbeing impact assessment

Child rights and wellbeing impact assessment (CRWIA) for the National Flood Resilience Strategy.

Post Assessment Review and sign-off

12. Planning for the review of impact on children's rights and wellbeing

As part of any actions as a result of the FRS, plans for reviewing the impact on children's rights and wellbeing need to be developed.

The FRS will establish the high-level strategy for improving flood resilience. When developing actions to achieve this, it is expected that stakeholders, including children and young people, will be involved at this stage. The FRS will direct stakeholders to the National Standards for Community Engagement to support them in their engagements. We do not anticipate requiring to review the CRWIA, it is in the delivery of actions where monitoring will take place.
