A point in time assessment of the likely effects of Scottish biodiversity strategy and delivery plan on the rights and wellbeing of children and young people.
Post Assessment Review and sign-off
12. Planning for the review of impact on children’s rights and wellbeing
The impact of the SBS and Delivery Plan on children's rights and wellbeing will be considered and reviewed at two levels:
- This CRWIA covering the Objectives and Priority Actions will be kept under review and if delivery of certain actions do in fact have negative impacts on children, the assessment will be reviewed and appropriate mitigation put in place. It is also anticipated that a full review of the CRWIA will be carried out alongside the development of the second Delivery Plan
- Where there are options for delivering certain of the Priority Actions, these will be subject to a CRWIA process on a project by project basis to ensure that the delivery option taken forward does not have unintended adverse consequences for children’s right and wellbeing.
