The Scottish Government and Ministers have ongoing meetings with stakeholders working with and representing young people accessing these services and their families and will communicate this decision through them.

This decision to accept findings does not yet translate into concrete changes to services. Work that will take that forward will include working with those impacted by service changes through usual NHS engagement channels.

Although the assessment for this impact assessment is neutral. The work to action these recommendations is expected to positively improve the delivery of these services, and in doing so have a positive health and wellbeing impact on the children and young people waiting to access these services. Specific implementation will continue to be impact assessment separately and this work will continue to be communicated to children and young people. While a child-friendly CRWIA is not deemed necessary due to the neutral impact decision, this CRWIA has been written in so far as is possible in accessible language so children and young people wishing to read it can understand its content and potential impact/ no impact. The CRWIA will be published on gov.scot so those wishing to read it can access it online.
