This final document is an assessment of the likely effects of Effective Community Engagement in Local Development Planning Guidance on the rights and wellbeing of children. Scottish Government will continue to review and update this document where required, including once the first round of new style local development plans (LDPs) have been prepared. Any future iterations will reflect an increased understanding of these impacts as the amount of evidence available continues to grow.
