There is opportunity for the refreshed guidance to make clear that integration authorities have a duty to complete a Child Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessment during the formation of their local strategic commissioning plans. This would assist local partners appropriately consider the impact of their commissioning strategies on the UNCRC.
