5. Is a Children's Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessment required?

Please state if a CRWIA will be carried out or not. Please explain your reasons.

A CRWIA will not be carried out. The Public Procurement Strategy for Scotland, while having an indirect impact of supporting policies and initiatives that benefit the people of Scotland, which includes Children and Young people, will not sit at a level where there are impacts directly on Children and Young people. This will sit within the specific policies and initiatives which the Strategy supports and encourages. These policies and initiatives will undertake CRWIAs.
