Overview

This Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is for civil engineering projects up to 5 million GBP for use across the Scottish public sector.

The DPS offers a straightforward, flexible, and quick route to market, which will enable public sector organisations to procure a broad range of civil engineering works without having to go through an onerous tendering process.

Suppliers are able to submit applications to join the DPS via PCS-T (additional details are included within the Contract Notice). There is no limit to the number of suppliers that can participate in the DPS and applications can be submitted at any time. We anticipate the DPS will be live until October 2030. The Scottish Government has the option to either extend or reduce the DPS term at any time.

What is in scope

The DPS includes the following six lots:

  • Lot 1: General Civil Engineering Works
  • Lot 2: Roads
  • Lot 3: Structures
  • Lot 4: Geotechnical Services and Related Works
  • Lot 5: Utilities
  • Lot 6: Harbour, Coastal, Rivers, Flood and Marine

Who can use this

The DPS can be used by:

  • central government
  • health
  • local authorities
  • third sector (voluntary organisations and charities registered in Scotland)
