Climate change duties - draft statutory guidance for public bodies: consultation

Introduction

Scottish public bodies have duties to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, to contribute to the delivery of the Scottish National Adaptation Plan, and to act in the most sustainable way. These are known as the climate change duties. This consultation seeks your views on draft statutory guidance intended to support public bodies in putting the climate change duties into practice. Public bodies subject to the climate change duties are required, by law, to have regard to the statutory guidance.
