DPEA publication policy and data protection
28. In cases to which this code applies (with the exception of appeals relating to confidentiality of information) DPEA will publish on its website all the documentation relating to the appeal. In order to comply with data protection principles DPEA will remove all personal telephone numbers, email addresses and signatures before publishing documents to the website. If you do not want a document that you have submitted to be published on the website please explain the reason for this when you submit the document. Please note that anonymous or confidential representations are unlikely to be given the same weight as other representations.
29. DPEA's aim is to ensure that anything that is abusive, indecent, unlawful or liable to cause offense is not displayed. However, individuals must take personal responsibility for the comments that they make and submit.
