It has been envisaged that, in the main, national data is most useful for planning purposes rather than as a measure of performance as there are many uncontrollable factors that influence the figures. However some of the data we collect, for example on criminal proceedings and prison data will also be used as indictors so please refer to the OPI framework for details.
