As part of the commitment to continuous improvement to the processes used in all their publications, Scottish Government statisticians have been reviewing the data and methodologies within the Government Expenditure & Revenue Scotland (GERS) publication. As a result, a number of changes were proposed for the 2016-17 publication. The consultation sought users' views on these changes, which were discussed at the annual meeting of the Scottish Economic Statistics Consultation Group on 25 April May 2017.
