Introduction
The consultation document, "Consultation on the Letter of Rights for Scotland" was published on 1 October 2019. The consultation closed on 13 December 2019. 23 responses were received.
This report provides a summary of responses to each question in the consultation document. The information gathered through the consultation process will help inform further drafts of the Letter of Rights.
15 organisations and eight individuals responded.
Of the organisations that responded, a large majority either represented the legal sector or provided advocacy around the legal sector (six) or represented and provided advocacy for individuals with various disabilities (seven).
