1 ‘Polluting heating systems’ refer to heating systems which burn fossil fuels like gas boilers, oil boilers and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) boilers in this Impact Assessment. These are ‘direct emissions heating systems’ because they produce greenhouse gas emissions when we use them.
