Our contribution to the UK Government's white paper on the UK's future relationship with the European Union (EU).
This document sets out our preferred position across the range of areas that will form the basis of the future relationship with the EU and has been shared with the UK Government. It draws on the wide range of publications from the Scottish Government setting out our position on Scotland's interests in the future UK-EU relationship.
The document covers both the future economic and security partnerships, as well as cross-cutting issues and the institutional structure which will be required to support that future relationship. It is a considered and serious contribution which we believe would constitute realistic and workable proposals to protect the interests of Scotland, and the whole of the UK.
