Publication of Covid-19 Business Support Funding, reporting mean payments and payments of £100,000 or more.
This table provides experimental statistics on a subset of COVID-19 Business Support Grants delivered and reported on since November 2020. This preliminary analysis details: the level at which each grant was awarded, the median grant amount paid; and the number of grants awarded of £100,000 or more.
In total 338 grants of £100,000 or over have been paid to these funds. The majority of these large grants were paid to businesses and organisations in the cultural and tourism sectors.
We have reported grants at the premise level for some funds, due to data quality issues we are not yet able to report on these funds at the business level. Please note that due to ongoing quality assurance, these statistics are subject to change.
A summary of total amounts paid is available.
More information about local authority administered funds is available.
