A spreadsheet which landlords can send to tenants to help them work out their income and expenditure, and therefore what they could potentially pay the landlord (per month), towards clearing the arrears, has been developed. You should assure yourself that any outputs and calculations in the sheet are correct.

In case the tenant would prefer to work with an independent intermediary, housing advice and support, including support on rent arrears, can be obtained from Shelter Scotland and your local Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB).
