Tenants’ rights information
Information should be given to the tenant so that they know their rights, in relation to the Pre-Action Protocols (PAP) – a process which landlords should go through with their tenant to help sustain the tenancy, so that the tenant can stay in the home, as far as possible. For this reason, this has been appended to the First letter. The landlord can of course send out this extract again, if this would be helpful.
