Coronavirus (COVID-19): Justice Analytical Services data report - October 2020
Fifth release of a monthly data report on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the justice system in Scotland, including information from Police Scotland, Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service, Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, and Scottish Prison Service.
Case types
In October 2020, most initiated and disposed cases were just below 2019-20 levels.
- All initiated case types presented are gradually returning to 2019-20 levels, with month to month variation. Family and Debt are higher than 2019-20 average monthly cases.
- In October, all disposed case types presented had returned to 2019-20 levels, but Personal Injury disposals were lower than 2019-20 average levels.
