You requested the following:

(1.) The date on which the Scottish Government learnt of the resignation of Ferguson Marine Chief Financial Officer, George Crookston.

(2.) All correspondence between the Scottish Government and Ferguson Marine and mentioning George Crookston, 1st January 2022 - date.

Response

1. In response to part 1 of your request, I can confirm the Strategic Commercial Assets Division were notified of George Crookston’s resignation on 16 November 2022. 
2. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide the information you have requested as an exemption under FOISA applies. 

I am issuing a formal notice under section 17(1) stating the Scottish Government does not hold the information that falls within scope of your request.
