Correspondence in relation to Dalzell Steelworks: FOI release

Information requested
- What (a) correspondence and (b) meetings has the Scottish Government had with (i) Tata Steel and (ii) Liberty House since 14 January 2022 regarding the Dalzell steelworks. Please provide a copy of the letters, minutes and all other documentation that accompanied these events.
- How much has the Scottish Government spent on legal advice in relation to the Dalzell Steelworks during 2022.

While our aim is to provide you information wherever we can, on this occasion we are unable to provide you with all of the information you have requested as statutory exemptions under FOISA apply. Further information regarding these exemptions can be found in the annex below.
In response to part two of your request, the total expenditure for legal advice in relation to Dalzell Steelworks throughout calendar year 2022 is £36,317.44.
